Professor Jason Youseph is the Program Director at Carlson Gracie Irvine. He is a Brazilian Jiu Jistu Black Belt under the legendary Master Allan Goes from the world famous Calrson Gracie Team. Jason has been training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu since 2006.

Jason Youseph is a highly decorated active competitor is the Brazilian Jiu Jitsu scene and has multiple world class accomplishments including a very prestigious Pan Am gold medal and various super-fight wins to his credit along with an impressive MMA record as well.

His primary mission is to help everyone that comes to our school reach their martial arts goals whether it is learning Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in Santa Ana CA for self-defense, and\or instilling the skills and mental capability to be a World Champion BJJ practitioner and everything else in between. 

We are also proud of the fact that Jason Youseph is the 3rd documented Assyrian ancestry Brazilian Jiu JItsu Black Belt.

Professor ErnestoAn IT Professional by day, Roco is the assistant Program Director/Instructor at Carlson Gracie Irvine.  Ernesto Roco was also awarded his Brazilian Jiu Jistu Black Belt at the same day with Jason Youseph under the legendary master Allan Goes from the world famous Calrson Gracie Team. Ernesto has been training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu since 2007.

Ernesto Roco started his Brazilian Jiu Jitsu journey under the world renowned Jean Jacques Machado where he received his rank of Purple Belt with 5 stripes. After relocating to Orange County, CA he then found Master Allan Goes where he was awarded his Brown and Black Belt. 

Ernesto started training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu to learn self-defense and to improve his physical fitness. Ernesto is best known for his race car driving skills, he used to be a national level race car driver and national champion. 

He also is very familiar with the competition Scene competing at Pan Am and other IBJJF events. 

Ernesto is excited to help spread his technical knowledge of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and share its history with the world. He is looking forward to working with our Adult and Youth Programs.

Professor Frank Chirino A law professional by day, our most senior Black Belt is also a Carlson Gracie Team Black Belt under New Breed Academy Professor Johnny Ramirez. Frank has been training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu since 2000. Frank Chirino has trained with some of the best martial arts instructors around the world and we are all very fortunate to have this knowledge passed down to us. Professor Frank Chirino with his vast knowledge of not only the technical aspects of Jiu Jitsu but also the history of the art will be assisting us with the instruction of the Adult programs and Competition teams.Professor Frank Chirino is also a very gifted Brazilian Jiu Jitsu instructor with his ability to communicate details of the techniques that makes learning complicated techniques simple and easy for the students to digest, a rare talent indeed.  

Dimas Felipe Heckert

Sensei Dimas Heckert is a Judo Black Belt, Former professional athlete and former Judo referee. Born in Brazil, he brings in his baggage a life dedicated to competitions and training in Judo, He is a  Brazilian Jiu Jitsu  Brown Belt and (MMA) Mixed Martial Arts fighter. Sensei Dimas has over 10 years of experience teaching and 29 years dedicated to martial arts training. His experience teaches people who wants to be a Professional Athletes and the necessary steps to victory. In Brazil he participated in several training's with the Brazilian National Team. But if you seek knowledge and do not want to compete professionally you can develop the skills needed to keep yourself safe by using Judo as a self defense and also learn the lessons to evolve and develop yourself within the sport and in your life.

Clara Chung

Clara Chung is a purple belt, kids' instructor and Carlson Gracie Team competitor. She started Brazilian jiu-jitsu in 2014 under the tutelage of Mauro Ayres as part of the Nova Geracao team. She competes regularly and loves teaching kids the gentle art. Clara also has a full time job as a Graphic designer and she spends most her days in the gym teaching and training for competitions. She has lots of competition accomplishments to add to her resume she also competes all over the united states.
